What does this do?
This program updates the TH55 CLIÉ Handheld Organizer application and resolves various issues with the following components:
CLIÉ Organizer Application Launcher
CLIÉ Organizer Date Book
CLIÉ Organizer To Do List
Important Notes
This update application requires that you have approximately 1,200 KB of available memory in your CLIÉ handheld. Before installing this application, confirm that there is enough memory available. To check the available memory in your CLIÉ handheld:
Tap th"t;Applicatio"t; tab from CLIÉ Organizer. The CLIÉ Organizer Applications panel is displayed.
Tap th"t;Applicatio"t; icon. This is a blue arrow-shaped icon found at the top of the icon list. The CLIÉ Launcher panel is displayed.
Tap the upper left corner of the screen. A drop-down menu is displayed with options titled Delete, Beam, Category, Info, and Copy.
Ta"t;In"t; from the drop-down menu. Th"t;In"t; panel will appear. Please note the first line of text in this display state"t;Device"t;
Tap the down-arrow to the right o"t;Devic"t; and selec"t;Handhel"t;
Ta"t;Si"t; at the bottom of the window. The second line of the panel display will sho"t;Free Space"t;
Verify th"t;Free Spa"t; value shown is greater than 1,200 KB. NOTE: If there is not 1,200 KB of memory available, please delete any unnecessary files or application.
Tap the "Done" button to exit.
During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights. ™li>Make sure that Palm™ Desktop for CLI&Eacut®g; software is installed on your PC from the installation CD-ROM supplied with your CLI&Eacut®g; handheld and that the PC is configured to be able to perform a HotSy®g; operation.
To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.

WARNING!!: Please perform a soft reset on your CLI&Eacut®g; handheld BEFORE performing the update installation by pressing the small reset button on the back of your CLI&Eacut®g; handheld. For more detailed information, refer to the CLI&Eacut®g; handheld Read This First Manual.
Navigate to the directory where to INST_TH55_CO102_US.EXE was downloaded.
Double-click the INST_TH55_CO102_US.EXE file to begin the extraction process.
At the "WinZip Self-Extractor - INST_TH55_CO102_US.EXE" window, click UnZip to install to the default directory listed under "Unzip to folder" or click the Browse button to navigate to the desired directory, click OK and then click UnZip. One file named "inst_TH55_CO102_US.prc" will be extracted to the specified directory. NOTE: Please make note of this directory for reference.
At the "One file(s) unzipped successfully" message, click OK.
Click Close to exit the "WinZip Self-Extractor - INST_TH55_CO102_US.EXE" window.
Start the Palm Desktop for CLIÉ software.
Click the "Install" icon. The Install tool wizard starts.
Select the appropriate user name from the user list.
Click "Add."
Navigate to the location where you saved the update file in Step 7.
Select the application file "inst_TH55_CO102_US.prc" and click "Open."
Click "Done."
Connect your CLIÉ handheld to the computer via a USB cable.
Perform a HotSync operation.
After the HotSync operation finishes and you are prompted to reset your CLIÉ handheld, tap "Reset."
The installation is complete.
Confirm a Successful Installation
Tap th"t;Applicatio"t; tab from CLIÉ Organizer. The CLIÉ Organizer Applications panel is displayed.

Scroll down the list of file names and verify the following file names and versions are listed:
- CLIE Org.Application
v.1.01
- CLIE Org.Date Book
v.1.02
- CLIE Org.Memo Pad
v.1.01
- CLIE Org.ToDo
v.1.01
NOTE: If the versions listed for all four files are not as shown above, please download and install this update again.
Tap the "Done" button to exit.
